WARRANTY STATEMENT

Here at Triad Scooters we are very proud of our products and the innovative designs that we use and provide a manufacturer’s warranty which covers all manufacturing faults and defects. Our manufacturer’s warranty can vary depending on the product and is only from the original date of purchase (receipt required). This does not apply to normal wear and tear, malfunctions or failures that result from abuse, neglect, improper assembly, improper maintenance, alteration, collision, corrosion, crash or misuse. Installation of components, parts, or accessories not originally intended for use with or compatible with Triad Scooters and components will void any warranty offered.

Griptape, handle grips, headset bearings and wheel bearings will wear over time during normal use are consumable products which means they are not covered under warranty unless received in a non-functioning or defective state.

If you purchased the product from an authorised dealer, the dealer will handle the warranty.

All wheels come with a 90 day manufacturer’s warranty.

This covers:

• De-hubbing of the wheel (must be a clean de-hub where the PU has come completely away from the wheel core)

• Ovalizing of the core bearing housing

• Cracking of the core

This does NOT cover:

• Chunking of the PU (chunking is when the wheel PU breaks off in “gouges” caused by riding on rough surfaces.)

• Chips, cracks and small abrasions on or around the riding surface of the PU (these are considered as normal wear and tear)

• Wheel Bearings

All forks come with a 90 day manufacturer’s warranty.

This covers:

• Bending or breaking of the fork

This does NOT cover:

• Stripped or bent axles

• Forks that have been modified in any way

• Misuse or incorrect setup

• Finishes (e.g paint, anodizing, decals, etc.)

All clamps come with a 90 day manufacturer’s warranty.

This covers:

• Breaking of the clamp body

This does NOT cover:

• Stripping or cross threading of clamp or bolts (caused by misuse or rounded allen keys)

CHROMOLY BARS

All chromoly bars come with a 90 day manufacturer’s warranty.

This covers:

• Bending or breaking of the bars

This does NOT cover:

• Damage caused by external forces (e.g. damage caused to the barsthrough impact on concrete, or other damage caused to the bars)

• Modification to the bars

• Scratches and chipping of finishes

• Bars with visible signs of impact from the scooter landing incorrectly orbeing thrown

ALUMINIUM BARS

All Aluminium bars come with a 30 day manufacturer’s warranty.

This covers:

• Cracks in the welds

This does NOT cover:

• If bars have less then 40mm of fork tube inside the bars

• If you modify or cut your bars

• Scratching or chipping of paint

• Misuse of your bars

• Bending or cracking due to misuse or poor landing

All Decks come with a 180 day manufacturer’s warranty.

This covers:

• Snapping or cracking of the deck or welds

This does NOT cover:

• Damage caused by misuse and abuse

• Scratches or fading of finishes

• Modifications to any part of the deck or damage caused by a lack of maintenance as well as wear from grinding rough surfaces

• Damage to the headset cups due to bad set up or lack of maintenance

• Dinting of the deck down tube

• Warping of the deck related to excessive and uncontrolled drops and landings

SUBMITTING A WARRANTY CLAIM

Log the details of your claim electronically through momentumservicesco.com Select the Parts/Warranty request and complete the online form. Any claim will be processed much quicker with accompanying images.

If approved:

If your item is approved for warranty you will receive an email with instructions on how the claim will be resolved. This email may contain a return shipping label.  Please include a copy of your warranty approval email in your return shipment.

Triad will replace your item with the same item.  If the same item is not available, Triad has the right to replace with a similar item.  The warranty submission process can take up to 5 business days.
